ROOT CANAL THERAPY
A SOLUTION FOR YOUR TOOTH PAIN
A root canal is a common dental procedure performed to save natural teeth and avoid the need for dental implants or bridges.
The pulp, containing blood vessels, is located at the center of your tooth and contributes to its structure. Infection of the pulp can result from various factors such as trauma, decay, cracks, or previous dental work. Symptoms may include visible injury or swelling, tooth and gum sensitivity, or pain.
If you experience these symptoms, your dentist may suggest non-surgical treatment to remove the infected pulp. This process involves removing the injured pulp, cleaning, and sealing the root canal system. Typically, local anesthesia is used, and the procedure may require one or more visits.
After treatment, you can usually drive home and resume normal activities comfortably.
